A game using Clickteam's default platforming engine. Do I have to say much more...? It's got slippery, floaty controls, path-following enemies, and levels that are obscenely oversized with absolutely nothing meaningful filling them. The game doesn't cull projectiles by off-screen enemies, and all off-screen movement is halted, so many levels hit you with an incoming wall of fireballs you have to pray to get past in one piece.

Its code is extremely basic; Mario can't stomp enemies, and the Fire Flower and Ice Flower are not just extremely spotty on when or where they choose to fire, but don't even harm a good chunk of the enemies...! You also apparently have "stylus" control, allowing you to click on enemies to allegedly stun or harm them, and it's just as useful as you might expect. Bosses aren't defeated directly, but instead by pressing buttons to launch projectiles in seemingly random directions, and getting them to land is a nightmare.

What's fun about the game? The speed boots, actually. After world 2 you get the ability to 'run' by pressing slash (/), which cranks Mario's speed and momentum to maximum, whether he's stopped or in motion, on the ground or midair. Momentum is one of those foibles you learn to live with in Clickteam games, but being able to zip forward at max speed at the push of a button is very entertaining, actually.
