Tears of the Kingdom Meals Ranked on Tastiness
Well, here we are! The Tears of the Kingdom ranking video I had to delay twice because of how long it took me to make! Hopefully, it was worth it, but I somehow doubt it will have been.
In this Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ranking list, I decide which of the meals cooked by Link in the cooking pot are the tastiest. This list focuses solely on the cooking pot recipes (so no Baked Apple or Seared Steak, etc.) because I mainly wanted to focus on how good the meals look, and also because that tier list was already made, which is linked below.
I think it was a good idea to narrow down the list idea, because even after I narrowed it down, there were still 145 items that needed to be ranked. I knew the meal list was extensive, and yet I was still surprised by just how long this list ended up being. As I said above, this was an incredibly long video to make, but I really did have a lot of fun making it.
I didn’t really have a set list of rules I followed when making this list, it was more of a loose, go with the flow type of method. This means that I didn’t adhere to the same rules for each item I put on there, which is probably a little confusing, but I don’t care. I had to follow my heart.
If there is one thing I was able to learn about myself from this video, it was that I have very clear preferences. I like things cheesy, sweet, or spicy, and I really don’t like seafood. This isn’t really fair to seafood because I can’t eat it due to allergies, but it does mean that most seafoods ranked in the bottom two tiers. Such is life.
I also figured out in this list that there are some pretty glaring holes in Link’s menu. Most noticeably for me is that he doesn’t have access to sandwiches. The perfect traveling food and he’s not able to make sandwiches. This is wild to me. It’s also deeply upsetting as someone who loves sandwiches.
I didn’t think it was possible, but I do think there’s even more opportunity to expand Link’s cooking repertoire. Too bad that Nintendo announced that they wouldn’t be making any DLCs for this game, or we could have had an entire sandwich line developed by link.
So if you like a lot of unsalted meat, potentially controversial opinions, and/or an alarming lack of sandwiches, then this episode of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is for you!
