I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW MUCH FUN PRINCESS PEACH SHOWTIME IS - PPS Playthrough Episode 2
So, let’s just get this out of the way and say I’m not drunk for this episode. Disappointing, I know, but I don’t get that drunk very often, so a repeat was unlikely. But, despite the fact that I was not drunk at all, I still found myself having an extraordinary amount of fun in this episode.
Window hole-related reasons have caused me to only do three levels in this episode, but I enjoyed all three of them. Also, weirdly enough, three-fourths of the activities in this episode were Swordfighter Peach related.
We start the episode with the next Swordfighter Peach world, which is ghost themed. The castle is haunted and attacking the little Theets for no reason, which wasn’t cool. When confronted, he dropped us to the basement, which also wasn’t cool. We have to slash and hack our way back through the Castle in order to confront the big boss ghost. Doing so allows Peach to access the Swordfighter Spirit, and unlocks a room in the basement.
This room leads us to the final Swordfighter level (I assume) and asks us to save the Swordfighter Sparkla, the real star of the Swordfighter plays. Thematically, this level looks a lot like the previous level, but adding in the rift level from Mario Wonder. It’s definitely the hardest level I’ve done so far, and it was still easy.
Then we move on to a level that I didn’t know existed: an ice skating level. I was incredibly excited to do an ice skating level and it was not a let down. Peach was very graceful and was able to use her ice dancing skills in order to save more of the theets. This was another level where the boss was a lot of fun and really unique.
We finish off the level with a small swordfigher challenge that requires Peach to basically go through a gauntlet of masked enemies to earn different trophies. She had to take down 140 of them in order to get gold.
So if you like sword fighting, ice skating, and/or theater, then this episode in my Princess Peach: Showtime playthrough is for you!
