"The Blues Brothers" for the Game Boy is a delightful and challenging platformer released in 1992, based on the iconic "The Blues Brothers" film and characters created by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. Developed by Titus Software and published by Ocean Software, this game brings the misadventures of Jake and Elwood Blues to the handheld gaming world.

Players take on the roles of Jake and Elwood Blues as they embark on a mission to collect musical instruments for a charity concert while evading the police, rival musicians, and a host of comical enemies.

In the game, characters possess the capability to grab and hurl boxes at their adversaries. Every level revolves around a jumping-centric concept, requiring the characters to locate a vital item (such as a guitar) somewhere within the level.

The game's soundtrack is a melodic rendition of the movie's music. Dimitris Yerasimos composed the music for all game versions, except for the Game Boy edition, where the music was crafted by Thorsten Mitschele.

The graphics and sound are relatively modest due to the Game Boy's limitations, but they manage to capture the essence of the film, featuring character sprites recognizable as Jake and Elwood.

"The Blues Brothers" for Game Boy provides an entertaining and nostalgic gaming experience for fans of the classic film.
