In this episode we take a look at the prevailing antagonistic force within the Tekken series - Devil, Devil Kazuya and the Devil Gene - as far back as Tekken 1 and brought to the fore in Tekken 2, Kazuya Mishima and his deal with the Devil has been the backbone of the Mishima arc through almost every major instalment excusing Tekken 3. His decline as a protagonist into overt villainy and the moral battle for his soul by Jun Kazama and Angel in Tekken 2 have made Kazuya one of the most interesting anti-heroes in video games, and today we explore how the Demonic force of Devil Kazuya contributes to this.
