The Official Reason Boruto's Karma Is NERFED So Much!
1,545When Boruto was given the karma seal by Momoshiki, everyone knew that something special had happened to Boruto and many people rightfully believed that Boruto's karma seal came with an enormous power boost waiting to happen. However, since the moment Boruto has begun to master the power of karma, displaying power that even Prime Naruto found himself in awe of, it quickly became clear that Boruto was on pace to become one of the most broken characters in the series. However, since the end of the battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki and since Boruto was given the byakugan pills by Amado to take to slow down the Otsutsukification, ie transformation into a full blown Otsutsuki ready to resurrect Momoshiki, we haven't seen Boruto in the anime even attempt to use the power of the karma despite being in situations that some fans feel warranted the use of karma. Well, up until now, we had no official answer as to why he couldn't use karma, but now we finally have one given to use directly by one of the lead writers for the Boruto anime and the answer while it does make a LOT of sense, it will likely be something that upsets fans who want to see Boruto truly unleash the god mode power that we've seen him display in the manga!
