3,040From the moment Boruto destroyed Sasuke's Rinnegan, fans of Boruto Naruto Next Generations knew that it was only a matter of time before the Boruto anime would eventually move away from adapting the manga and moving back to doing what is referred to as anime canon episodes, which tell a parallel story to the Boruto manga, while the Boruto manga continues to create manga arcs for the anime to eventually adapt. However, after getting over a year of mostly manga content in the Boruto Naruto Next Generations anime, there have been quite a few fans asking anxiously when will the current arc of the Boruto manga, the Code Arc, be adapted into the Boruto anime and why can't the Boruto anime start adapting any of the content sooner! Fans want to see Boruto vs Kawaki, Boruto vs Code, Sarada Vs Kawaki, and so many of the fights that have been shown in the manga since the end of the events of Boruto Chapter 55 were shown in the anime! Currently the Boruto anime is only partly into the events of Boruto chapter 56 and hasn't gone any further than where it currently is, which has people wondering will the anime ever go back to manga canon.
