64Battletech was once a behemoth of a franchise. Longer lived than Warhammer 40k, it similarly has its roots as a tabletop, but I'd say the majority of people are familiar with the video games instead. In the 90's and early 00's it seemed like Mechwarrior was going to stick around forever - but it didn't. Why is that? And are we about to witness a revival of the franchise in the coming years?
