While we continue playing through Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy for review, here is some footage of the introductory missions on the budget Xbox Series S. Given this is releasing on all platforms including the Nintendo Switch, it should come as no surprise it still looks good and - without running the footage it through analytical tools - the 60fps target never perceptibly dips.

Impressions so far are positive. It's still best played in 3-player coop using the "classic" mode (only one character of each type at a time), but developers Frozenbyte have made puzzles in solo play often require the use of all three characters (so you're not just breezing through by swapping to the optimal character). If you've enjoyed the prior Trine games (and 3 wasn't that bad!), you'll enjoy Trine 5. If the IP has never done it for you, Trine 5 is unlikely to change your mind.
