- Analysis:
Aggression or not, C3 EX is extremely powerful with just Boltslay. However, it's easily interrupted in normal gameplay circumstances because the initial execution of his C3 EX can be interrupted even with Iron Gauntlet. But Iron Gauntlet is still needed for the full C3 EX.
Zhao Yun is one of the most agile Speed type character in game, if not most agile. All his movesets can be canceled and are mobile. JA can be canceled with JC or Air R1, JC as well as Air R1 can be canceled with DJ. JA-cancel-JC with Aggression will finish off any generic officer. A combination of JA-cancel-JC/Air R1-DJ-repeat will be able to catch up and combo any stronger officers that are ~1.5x - 2x stronger.
Aggression C3 EX with no Lion's Fang will OHKO everything, as well as Kotaro Fuma 100% with just Boltslay. But note that JA is actually his main offense with the assist of JC and Air R1.
His only real flaw is unable to deal with multiple officers efficiently, especially at Investigation at Mt. Niutou - Mirror Realm stage.
Because of his mobile combating, he's the only character that is capable of clearing any scenarios (including AO) in any stage without any means of sustaining without being totally invincible (character's that can self-heal do not count). Aerial combat also reduces damage taken because of 'aerial penalty' from enemies. So he is a really safe character to play as, but difficult.

• Can clear all stages + scenarios with very minimum sustain
• Aggression + Boltslay C3 EX will overkill anything
• JC and Air R1 are all very safe and mobile offense
• His ability to cancel and link all his offenses really messes up enemy archers aiming
• Good combo generator
- Cons:
• Poor against officer pile up
• Slow clear time relative to the tier he is placed in
- Notes:
• Strong offense with above average clear time, though this is really compensated through superb defensive maneuvers
