We have received a task to learn about the sylphs and their attentions with their primal Ramuh. While the sylphs don't show any intentions of summoning their primal, we don't know for sure. Gridania can't deal with the threat of the Ixal and their primal Garuda and the sylphs and Ramuh at the same time if it were to come to that. So, we were sent to be a liaison between Gridania and Little Solace in order to avoid that.
We have some other things to take care of first though. While we are in Gridania, we stop by to check on our retainers. They have completed their ventures and gained a few levels, so it is time to equip them some more. Our things for sale didn't really amount to much, but all but three things sold, so a success? I guess? We equip Koiga with some of our old gear but have to buy a few things to flesh her out. While doing so, we have to buy a whole set of gear for Koigo. During this, we discover that we missed a tier of gear since Koigo is now better equipped than Koiga. Koigo does look a little silly however. We put everything we can on the market, and regret our listing price for our red dye since it sold practically immediately. We probably could have sold it for a bit more.
After this, we head over to pick up our next class quest and get sent to help two out of the three seedseers who set off to perform a quieting ceremony. Supposedly the whole thing requires three seedseers, but the elder seedseer is busy. They thought that maybe they could do it with the pair of them alone, but run into trouble. We bail them out of it, and something magical happens. A soul stone magically materializes and floats into our possession. It is apparently the legacy of A-Towa-Cant, a legendary white mage. I guess it is his intention that we become a white mage.
While we are in the area, we do some hunting for targets on our log and discover that we have a second hunting log for the Maelstrom. Cool, but some of our more recent targets actually have us doing some FATEs in order to kill our targets. It may very well be that they exist elsewhere, and we just found them in the FATEs first. No problem, since we are being rewarded with Maelstrom seals for them now, and we kind of need those in order to purchase ventures for our retainers.
Lastly, before learning more about sylphic culture, we go to learn a bit more about our chocobo. It turns out that we can train him in battle, and actually have him assist us in combat. This should really help us with DPS since we are a healer. I am looking forward to working more with him.
Oh, and we get a sightseeing log. That is something we will deal with later I guess.

* Sylph-management (Main Story Quest) - The sylphs may be our best tie to the beast tribes and our best way to learn more of the primals. It is up to us to maintain diplomatic relations with the sylphs.
* Seer Folly (Class Quest) - E-Sumi-Yan sends us to help the elder seedseer's siblings in a quieting ritual where we discover that we are going to become a white mage.
* My Feisty Little Chocobo (Unlock Quest) - Our chocobo is going to become battle-trained.
* A Sight to Behold (Unlock Quest) - We learn about sightseeing and obtain a sightseeing log.
* We Come in Peace (Main Story Quest) - Our job as liaison between Gridania and the sylphs send us to the Hawthorne Hut in the East Shroud to learn more about the sylphs.
* Sylphic Studies (Main Story Quest) - We learn about how the sylphs operate from somebody who has spent plenty of time near to Little Solace.
* First Impressions (Main Story Quest) - Figuring out what gift to bring to the sylphs.

Ongoing Quests
* World of Wonders (Unlock Quest) - We are greeted at the entrance to the Gold Saucer, and are encouraged to take a tour of the facility.
* First Contact (Main Story Quest) - It is finally time to meet the sylphs of Little Solace.

* Stag Parting - Antelope in the South Shroud have been stirred into a frenzy, and we must put them down before they hurt themselves or others.
