I am not sure if it was the weapon, or the Daedulus upgrades, but this run went pretty smoothly. For the most part anyways. For once we went into the run without much of a plan. We knew we wanted a couple of Daedulus upgrades for the remaining fated prophecy, but aside from that, we just played it by ear.
Unfortunately, none of the Daedulus upgrades were what we were looking for, but they still helped the build out. As far as god boons that we wanted, we had a rough idea, but kind went with the flow. There were certain ones we would have liked, but didn't go out of our way to feel like we needed. We did pass on Aphrodite multiple times however, and somehow still ended up getting her in the end.
There was a particularly scary moment however when we were fight Asterius and Theseus. Somehow, we just couldn't avoid damage. Perhaps it had something to do with the range of their attacks while we had to punch them, but we ended up almost ending the run there. Two death defiances, and nearly all our hp after that. A bit of a nail biter to be sure. Fortunately, it was the scariest part of the run and everything else went pretty smoothly aside from that.
