Why Dino was supposed to die instead of Que in Transformers 3. 1 of the highested grossing movies of 2011 and the highest grossing Transformers film. Dark of the Moon was undoubtedly a huge game changer for the franchise. It introduced the fandom to awesome characters who made major contributions to the Autobots. 1 of which was Que who was the Autobot scientist and inventer. He was definitely someone who made an impact. Unfortunately he died as soon as he was introduced to Transformers cinematic universe. Being mercilessly shot down after begging for his life. And apparently he wasn't supposed to die in the original script. Numerous adaptations of Dark of the Moon illustrated that during the Autobot capture in Chicago, it was Dino/Mirage who was executed by Soundwave. However this was changed in the movie to Que/Wheeljack being killed instead while Dino/Mirage survived the battle.
