We start the episode off by maintaining our retainers. Ventures are still going to be a bit of an issue I think, but we are able to buy a few more. This allows us to send each retainer on two more ventures. It'll gain us a few more levels each, and acquiring a few items.
Afterwards, it is time to go find Teteroon so that we can return his earring. He is thankful and asks us to help him gather some ingredients for a gift for Buscarron. Buscarron seems to be a well liked guy.
When we return to Buscarron's Druthers, we have a lead on our missing sylph friend. A pair of sylphs have been spotted in the South Shroud, which is very rare. Buscarron informs us where we can search, and we set off to do so.
The sylphs seem to be running from some Garleans, which is also odd because they don't venture into the South Shroud either. It would appear that they may be setting up a nearby base in order to gain a foothold into more Eorzean territory. But how have they gotten so deep inside without being detected? The wood wailers should have seen something of an army (small contingent perhaps) of Garleans invading.
We report to Buscarron and he seems to also think something is suspicious. And he even has a target for his suspicion. A wood wailer seems to have come across some money lately, and he may be selling us out to the wood wailers. He asks us to see what we can learn.
It isn't too hard to find the traitor, and he looks suspicious right away. He hasn't done anything wrong yet, but I still believe he is up to no good. So we follow him some more, and he calls a Garlean to attack us. The Garlean is easily taken care of, and the traitor tries to play it off as a misunderstanding while continuing to run away.
We finally corner him, but this was his plan all along. We were lured into a trap, and get attacked by a large group of Garleans. As we defend ourselves, we get some unlikely help in the form of bandits and even poachers. They appear to be friends of Buscarron, so they will ally with us for the time being.
The traitor realizes the error of his ways once we defeat the Garleans (convenient) and turns himself in. Buscarron thanks us and even has obtained some more info regarding the sylphs. They were seen running into an abandoned dungeon full of monsters. This could be really bad for us if something were to happen to Frixio, so we pursue into the dungeon.
This brings us to the Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak. I apologize to my party for the cut-scene at the end, and for the deaths that occurred within the dungeon. But we do manage to learn a bit. The Ascians are involved somehow, and the Garleans are trying to get the sylphs to summon their primal Ramuh.
After rescuing Frixio, we are finally able to have a meeting with the sylph leader. It turns out that as long as we stay out of their territory, we should have no reason to fear the summoning of their primal Ramuh. He seems to be kind enough that all he seeks is to protect his subjects. If we leave them alone, he will have no reason to do anything to us.

* Never Forget (Main Story Quest) - Buscarron asks us to return a missing earring from a quiqirn friend of his. We go to Limsa Lominsa to see if we can find his trail.
* Microbrewing (Main Story Quest) - Help Teteroon thank Buscarron by gathering some ingredients for some firewater.
* Like Fine Wine (Main Story Quest) - Teteroon is finished making his firewater, and asks us to deliver it to Buscarron.
* Sylphish Concerns (Main Story Quest) - Sylphs have been sighted in the South Shroud. Buscarron helps us discover the trail, where we find Garleans are also involved.
* Nouveau Riche (Main Story Quest) - We think a woodwailer is betraying us and aiding the Garleans within the Twelveswood.
* Into the Beast's Maw (Main Story Quest) - The sylph elder Frixio has been chased into an abandoned dungeon by the imperials. We rush in to save him.
* A Simple Gift (Main Story Quest) - Buscarron asks us to deliver some Azeyma rose oil to Knolexia at Little Solace to help broker peace between us.
* Believe in Your Sylph (Main Story Quest) - We discuss peace with the sylph elder Frixio and receive a gift of our third crystal. Things seem to be going well as a liaison.

* World of Wonders (Unlock Quest) - We are greeted at the entrance to the Gold Saucer, and are encouraged to take a tour of the facility.
