That's the link to my official mouse reveal over on Xtrfy's YouTube Channel. It's named the "MZ1 - Zy's Rail", mainly because of the rails along the sides caused by the comfort grooves/curves. And I figured it was a cool shout out to Quake's railgun.
It's been a great launch, thanks so much to everyone who joined in and gave their opinions. It's a new shape, so while I totally understand the "it looks like ..." comments, you'll know it's definitely not like those mice once you get a hold of one!
So that's what I'm looking forward to most now, seeing what people actually think after they've tried it. For me it's kind of like the conclusion to all my favourite mice over the years, using all the design philosophies I really liked (like low button height, thin grip width, high back, etc). It's my new main for now, but apparently it suits a lot of hand sizes. I've let a lot of people try it when they've visited me. So far so good. But will the mouse community like it? Let's find out!
I'll do a detailed video in February when pre-orders open.
