AHOY Ye test subjects! Captain Jeff here for Aperture Gaming, and today I review a game that came out in 2018, but just finally made it to the shores of the PS5, Sea of Thieves!
I had a great time with this game. Ye start as a sailor who wants to become a pirate in the fabled Sea of Thieves, and the ghost of the Pirate Lord helps you reach it, and from there, the story is yours! This game be heavily focused on multi-player, and I was able to work with a fine crew!
The game is very hands on. you have to trim the sails, weigh the anchor, and patch holes in your ship while looking for treasure on various islands. Also, the ships do NOT turn on a dime, so you have to make sure you get some practice in. The look of the game almost reminds me of the Wind Waker game.
Season 12 just started, and I give this game a 9.5 out of 10.
