I Do NOT claim ownership of the game, nor do I claim to have worked on the game. I have purchased the game for my own entertainment. The video provided is from my own playing of the game on a system designed to play the game. The footage is mine and it serves to show how the game plays, the graphics, and features for the intent of review to help with the decision of if others want to play the game.

Greetings fellow test subject! Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it.
Today, we are reviewing Rise of the Ronin. While this game looks and feels like it could be the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, it' is NOT. Different dev team, and yet there is a video showing the difference in graphics from a four year space apart.

As a heads up, I had to actually turn down some of the effects in the game because I knew I was going to be putting it on Youtube. The game is rated M for mature because it includes but is not limited to: Blood and Gore, Language, Violence. So please game responsibly.

This game is by Team Ninja, so just a heads up on the difficulty curve. They have made other games that are kind of a grind if you don't have the experience, so that might be something that scares off some other players... there is a video on Youtube that also talks about the difference between easy and hard mode.

The game has you play as a lone Ronin, in a historical mid 19th Century Japan. The game is very RPG influenced, with the clothing and weapons you used having special effects along with offense and defense. And as you play, you level up and use your skill points to become the best Ronin ever. You make alliances and can play with other players online.

I give it a 9.5 out of 10.
