Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it. And welcome to the fourth annual Aperture Gaming Video Game Awards.
As a side note: For the 2022 awards, I had posted it when the 2023 year had started, so I wanted to make sure I was on top of things this year....
For my award show this year, I had early on gotten the request to start including footage of my gameplay, and I had realized VERY LATE that I should have saved the gaming footage I had started including from this year. It goes to show you that you can be doing something for a long time and still be learning... I'll make sure to work on that for the 2024 awards. I also tried to make the format for the awards show similar to the style that I normally review in. I hope you enjoy it.
I go from worst to first, talking about the mistakes made in the world of gaming, and then giving credit to all the games that entertained me this year. I also point out other games from previous years and do some comparison to the modern games. One game I didn't paly was Mortal Kombat 1, but it was needed for an award for this year... I also offer my short take on the Shadow of the Colossus game.
