The other half of the Magvel twins, Eirika is up next. Eirika normally doesn't have the best offense because of the low Atk stat in FE8, but in this series, it actually makes her more of a mixed attacker. The way that I do the other half Str/Mag in the games that don't have both stats, is I take the growth rate of the one they do have and subtract it from 70. The remainder of that goes to the other half. So, since Eirika has a 40% Atk stat, the 30% goes to the missing Mag growth. And because she gets a couple of things from her Emblem Ring and FEH (Lunar Brace and Swift Sparrow respectively), she gets a nice boost to her Str of +9 so she doesn't do chip damage with every hit. 51 Str still isn't the best for this series, but with her good offense on the other side, she can mix and match to get the matchup that she needs. She also has Imbue at her disposal which gives her an amazing 34 healing per turn. This isn't too useful for her since she is going first a majority of the time, but it's still more healing than no healing. Eirika's main strategy is taking advantage of her Engage Attack, Twin Strike, which in this series is just translated to Adept. This helps out her damage output a lot considering the aforementioned Str stat and it procs frequently because of her high Spd. She does also have the extra +5 Def/Res from her Gentility skill from her Engage ring, but as you can tell from her stats, it didn't really help too much. She just went from parchment paper level to regular paper in terms of defenses. Fortune is also something she has access to from all of her Dodge+ skills in Engage, but with 63 Lck, it doesn't come into play much at all. Her main draw for surviving is going to be the 189 avoid that she has. Not incredibly evasive like a unit like Lyre or Heather, but very respectable and will get some misses from the less accurate units. This paired with Imbue can make her really tough to knock out if you don't hit her consistently.

Adept: From her Engage Attack, Twin Strike.
Imbue: From FEH.
+2 Str/Spd: From Swift Sparrow in FEH.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
