Kurthnaga's Redux video is here. In the last iteration, Kurthnaga had some of the lowest accuracy to work with having only 44 Lck and 32 (THIRTY TWO) Skl. This meant that even though he had some of the best damage from range out of all the units in the series, he would fall on hard times simply because his accuracy was way too low. In his redux'd stats, he gains a massive 12 Skl, giving him a whopping 24 extra hit to work with and 6% extra chance to proc Ire. Still not the best chance to hit and proc Ire, but it is much better at this point than it was before. But it's also not good to downplay his raw damage either, he has access to the 22 Mt Black Breath with 115% Hit chance. So, even without the Ire procs he does mega damage from both close and long range granted he hits. He also still absolutely clowns on most of the magic units if they don't proc a Rexbolt Flare against his 70 Res and 100 HP. Most units won't even be able to on shot with a Rexbolt Flare and will have to hit him again in order to finish him off.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
