Channel Update (May 1st 2023)
4Ignore the fact that I look grimy in this video, it wasn’t something I cared enough about to fix when I just wanted to let you guys know I wasn’t dead.
But yes, I do want to start bringing in some more MLP related content to this channel, as MLP was always something that I was passionate about and still am to this day. While I’m probably still gonna bring in some Fire Emblem related content on here every now and then, I wanted to focus on doing something that I didn’t see too much of anywhere, which was Demon Slayer as MLP characters. I got into Demon Slayer around two to three years ago (which was definitely when the Covid pandemic started), and I fell in love with the series due to how it’s simple, yet expressive atmosphere is. The characters, the story, the ambition, the immersion, everything about it reminded me of MLP so much. I couldn’t help but think that after G4’s conclusion, this was the series that was gonna be there for me as I grew older, and it means so much to me, like this was the series that was meant to fill in the role MLP left behind.
Since the release of Demon Slayer’s third season, I wanted to celebrate by doing a little series that crossed over Demon Slayer with My Little Pony, except I drew what I thought characters from the former would look like if they were in Equestria. Making videos exploring the inspiration for their MLP designs that I drew them as is something I want to try someday (hopefully soon before I get burnout again). Later, after this video is posted, I’m gonna put the link to my Instagram account here on my YT channel if you guys are curious about what I’ve been up to; to answer your questions about where I was specifically, it was on Instagram, I started posting some stuff there as well.
