This was originally a reel on Instagram that had sat in my drafts for over 5 months, which was a reward that coincided along with a impromptu side series as a reward for unlocking all the MLP versions of certain Demon Slayer characters via voting in my stories. While the event has long since passed, I figured I’d share the same reel on here too (and primarily because I forgot that I needed to post on here too if I want to attract an audience 😅).

The inspiration for making this animatic came directly from Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitch, which is where the audio is from; specifically, the second half of Lilo’s fight with Stitch because she was getting fed up. When I saw the clip on Instagram pop up a few times, I thought about how it largely reminded me of how Sanemi and Tanjiro had beef with each other in the canon and, if given the chance without the risk of murder on deck, they’d be fighting like that almost every week. Believe me, even if Tanjiro would lose most of the time he’d fight with Sanemi, he’d be safe because Sanemi is prevented from killing him and Nezuko (the whole reason they have beef with each other in the first place, watch the anime for context).
