Hello guys, and welcome back to another helpful video. In this video, I'll be showing a fix for the log in the Rolling Demo in the unreleased Dinosaur Planet, using a REAL N64.

The log riding sequence in the Rolling Demo is fixed!! The issue was tied to Krystal being spawned on the CloudRunner instead of the log.

Normally Krystal is pretty much locked on to the CloudRunner, and disabling or changing it puts Krystal in idle nearby. The cutscene looks for things in a particular order.

Changing some MAPS objects and their OBJSEQ counterparts, will get Krystal back on the log. In ROM, input these values:

0:31 - This is what happens without the fix, the cause is probably a result of the devs never getting around to implementing it correctly. You can actually see Krystal still on the CloudRunner as the scene plays out.

Unfortunately the fix doesn't let Krystal stay on the CloudRunner after falling, like she does without the fix. Hopefully there's a work around for that, but for now is definitely an improvement.

In order for the patch to work on an N64 with an Everdrive 64 X5, (not specific to X5) you need to copy and paste 'DP=5' into 'save_db.txt' under CRC detection. 'Save_db.txt' is located in the ED64 folder on your Micro SD Card.
