#DOSember 2023 Recap
5DOSember 2023 was quite the ride. DOSember is a large Twitch community event where for the entire month of Decemeber, streams showed off and enjoyed all manner of DOS gaming. I didn't really grow up on DOS games, except for playing a bunch of shareware discs so I was excited to jump into this journey. I was also doing lots of research on early Korean PC games so this lined up perfectly.
Well I ended up way over my head with that. Still I managed to play through quite a few games for the first time, explore a bit of Korean PC gaming history, and learned to love cinematic platformers. Please enjoy my recap. If you enjoy this, I recommend getting into DOS gaming via real hardware or DOSBOX, however you can.
