FMV February - Wirehead Playthrough
1(My Sega CD acts up partway through so there's some editing and a switch to an emulator at some point, also I cheat a bit just to make the game a bit more streamable)
Somehow we've managed to get this deep into FMV February without an appearance from the Sega CD. That all changes here with a playthrough of what might be the best interactive movie on the Sega CD, Wirehead. We play as Ned, who after an accident has had his brain wired up via remote control. Some goons are trying to catch/kill Ned, the Doctor that wired him up, and the nosy reporter that assist them.
You're job as the player is to pick a direction or command at crucial points in order to see if Ned survives, or suffers one of the many many bad ends that can befall him. From getting mauled by a bear, being smothered by the thighs of a leggy assassin, or just randomly exploding in vehicles, Ned has a tough time. What makes this experience even tougher is there are no continues on this ride.
