Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) live stream full walkthrough #1 *
For the first ever time, I am playing a Zelda game on live camera, and we have Link to the Past on the Super NES. An old masterpiece from 1991, known as "Triforce of the Gods" in Japan, this Zelda, although not the 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 ever made in my book as that belongs to Ocarina of Time in N64 (very close, though), it is certainly the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 game of the series, as not only it debuted the iconic Master Sword, it set a major standard for the Zelda storyline for all titles afterward (including OOT) along with introducing many gameplay mechanics or items such as the Spin Attack or Hookshot and having two worlds, while itself being an improvement over the original 1986 NES game. It is indeed the peak 2D Zelda game.
I am doing a full 100% playthrough, but because this is Zelda, I will be splitting multiple streams throughout the game. This here, I'm doing from Zelda's rescue to the Desert Palace.
Played in real SNES hardware.
The stream won't be muted.
*The Hyrule Castle theme is muted due to copyright claim*
Intro/Zelda's Rescue: 0:00-19:47
Kakariko Village: 19:48-40:20
Eastern Palace (Light World Dungeon 1): 40:21-56:57
Desert Palace (Light World Dungeon 2): 56:58-1:27:09
Fun fact: This is the only SNES game I own in my 36 cartridge library of the console that wasn't originally bought by my father when I was a kid. It got the authentic copy in recent years, but the experience was already done by emulators and Virtual Console.
