Continuing on from the previous part, I have a lot of trouble trying to solve a puzzle!
The puzzle involves setting up a play of Hansel and Gretel, but with no actors.
You have to set things up in the right order to solve the puzzle.
The problem I ran into was overlooking the light switch for the longest time, and not noticing that there were two machines in the corner of the room to use!
With a lot of this part being just me failing to solve a puzzle aside, I eventually solve the puzzle.
You have to first turn off the lights, then play the music on the gramophone.
You follow that up by pointing the stage light to the middle of the stage, and then pull the left and right levers next to it in that order.
After doing that you have to use the machine all the way at the back corner of the room before finally using the machine in front of it to complete this puzzle.
Doing all this causes it to rain inside, and the play sort of comes to life!
Running past some monsters in a dark forest, I find a little cabin that contains yet another puzzle.
This puzzle is much easier to complete as all you have to do is turn the squares until they make a picture of a doll.
We are then rewarded with a blackboard eraser and another part of the bogeyman poem.
Before we can get out of this cabin, some doll monsters attack!
After taking out the doll monsters, I exit the cabin, which mysteriously leads onto the stage!
Finally moving on from that, I explore some more rooms.
After wandering around for a bit, I find a little girl, who runs off to who knows where, and I also find the purpose for the eraser.
Using the eraser to erase a lock on a chalkboard gives us a drawing of a boy holding a kite.
This leads to a flashback where Murphy chases after his son, who disappears before Murphy can get close.
