GSR = Ganondorf Source Requirement. The re-named version of what was previously No IM/WW (no item manpulation/wrong warp). This is the new record though I will beat it very very soon. Also, sorry the quality isn't great. I just exported from twitch because it's such a small PB.

Choked 1:13 at Ganon, but terrible run even if I didn't (Spirit BK skip was extremely good though). Random no reset run I did during a short stream. Lots of timeloss through the whole run. Mirror shield through Twinrova was very solid though, and I golded rova by 0.8 seconds (split late and re-timed after). The RNG I got was insane and I'll almost always lose some time compared to that. About tied my Mirror Shield gold as well despite doing 9 explosive hover instead of 8 like my previous PB did. I think at the moment my sum of best can go down quite a bit, into low 1:11. I only recently got it into sub 1:12. Getting 1:12 would be much, much easier than when I got 1:15 years back, both because the route is a lot easier and because I've improved since then.

Main timelosses:

20s child section (10s on escape because of the neutral position mishap)
20s hoverboots
10s bongo
20s enter wasteland
10-15s forest
20s ganondorf (18s to one stalfos)
15s ganon (rip 1:13)

Smaller timelosses:
5s on bombs
5s on hookshot
5s on collapse

10s loss on the first split because I had ess mapped as neutral position, likely because I was holding it when I reset as it's like that the whole escape segment until I'm setting up the wess (can see on the input viewer the stick isn't perfectly in place). I stop to hit L+R+Start to reset the controller and end up pausing on top of that as a result. This can also happen pretty much randomly when controllers get worn out, so hopefully won't become too common.

Just came back to speedrunning OoT in the past couple weeks. Since my WR last year, not a lot has changed strat wise besides the new "Boatkey" skip in Shadow Temple, an amazing new trick where you superslide directly to the boss loading zone. Of course, I do it with 1 bomb superslide and no pause buffering because that's how I roll (pun intended).

Other than that I've just improved, and that's why the goal is 1 hour and 12 minutes. This run and its timelosses just show how possible it is. At the moment I think a 1:12:3x is manageable, but I will probably be done for awhile at 1:12.

I could be doing DC hover route which saves 20-25 seconds, but some of that time is lost doing Spirit Jump over hover (on top of being hard to do consistantly as fast) and it's easy to lose time on DC hover. It's an easy trick (in my opinion) but I think the route is more fun without it, and I don't need it to get the time I want.

There are some minor glitches in the game feed around 30-40 minutes in. It's one of the many problems with my laptop which is why I'm raising money for a new one.

Shoutouts to my man TripppAU for two $20 donations during the stream. He's a solid runner from Australia who continues to improve. Follow him on twitch (TripppAU).

Also, follow CountLG on Twitch, he's up and coming and just beat this with a 1:14:10 recently.
