Hello again.

**Canon to my XCOM TFTD timeline**

This is a cautionary tale about:
- gauss guns not being good against Ztebiri/Lobstermen even on Beginner difficulty
- Aqua-Plastic armor being completely useless against sonic weapons
- me trying to make the custom soundtrack more fitting for the atmosphere of TaFeTeDeh, while still having the variety beyond one music track and combat tracks above the water (still only the ambient ones under the water, horror in MC sites and heavy metal in alien colonies)
- some of chosen sounds being way too loud or being slowed/sped because of their frequency, requiring more polish
- OpenEGGSCOM not exactly supporting several death and step sounds without true understanding (hehe) of how it works

So, what I wanted to do here is to try out some gauss weapons' sounds, assembled from Sam 4's SFX to sound close to the original versions from TaeFTeDeh.
As well as test Ztebiri and Bio-Drones' death sounds, explosions too.

And to still give a feeling of "happiness" during daytime surface missions, yet not as happy as it was in my LP proper before "Post-Sydonium (Synonium, but I don't care) Site" - and because there's no horror on bright daytime island resorts anyway.
More like displaying the "beauty of the world" masking the hellhole that it has become in 2040, what is seen by either EGGSCOMs or any other person really.

The story (note: they decoded sonic guns already):
====
(Takes place during July 2040 in Northern Eurasia)
A rather frightening day. Messages after messages about massive alien coastal assaults all around the globe. An accepted ignorance of situation, fueled by staggering amounts of consumer propaganda infests the mind of humanity.

Not the Eurasian people, however. Seven years ago, they managed to re-assemble themselves in the Rebirth under the guidance of Essentuki Miramistinova, the anti-villainous revolutionary. Tourists not native to Eurasia which endured the entire Rupture of Russia in serfdom under regional oligarchs and forced annexation, could finally leave.

Many came back to their homes, but some stayed - despite the unethical methods Essentuki utilized, she did it honestly and with sincere belief, with the acceptance of societal revolt that she awaited. But it didn't occur - it was exactly this honesty that attracted even the vilest people from across the planet, who've been fed up with swarms of lies.

Those who stayed felt they actually could do something even against the odds. The most daring of formerly foreign citizens joined the Eurasian Armed Forces, in an attempt to prevent the self-destruction set forth for humanity.

"If my atrocities mean a salvation for the entire human race, then so be it" - it was Essentuki's motto. She hoped that this exact line of thought would give a rise to those who would salvage humanity with the actual honor and morals.

One message broke through the intensity of SOS reports. Checking their legitimance was a hard task, as spammers weaponized the fear of the Great Dreamer. This one, however, was indeed a truth.
An Eurasian sea resort was ambushed by a lone Ztebiri reconnaissance squad. The few survivors still alive only wanted to see the arrival of those who'll punish the aliens, even if they won't live for long.

Cursing the invaders, Adam turned back to his comrades in "Отряд морпехоты Евразии".
Essentuki had to leave the country in order to form an alliance the population of Moscow Megalopolis, a former Euro-Syndicate city-state and a highly xenophobic underground society formed out of elerium-nuclear terrorism of Cult of Sirius. That meant the ones who stayed behind had to protect the legacy of Essentuki.
And Adam trusted Essentuki. She gave him a purpose to follow after the Rupture, after being a lost cause of a person for years back in Slavic Association before it unified with Euro-Syndicate. Believing that this purpose is still right, there wasn't a reason to leave the aliens unpunished.

Giving a nod to Ingred, it was clear that this was their mission for today. Adam took permission to use freshly-made Eurasian gauss weapons, reverse-engineered and improved from the shared expertise of Shinshilla Serebroplata, a chief scientist of SORESO Base and the only friend of Essentuki.

Clad in alien alloy personal armor, reinforced by Aqua Plastics, and with new weapons to test on the invaders, Adam gave a signal to move out.
