I missed the previous beta, and it wasn't possible to play without PS+. This time around it was fixed so I got the chance to remember some King of Fighters action.

The stream ended without me playing vs people unfortunately :(. I did record a second time with some matches. I was just overwhelming with checking each character and learning moves and what not.

KoF is fantastic serious and it's roots are going back since 94. The previous installment and this one attempt to bridge a gap between between veterans and new players. Truth is KoF really rewards you for your continuity for the most part. A lot the basic roots of the series lies in each game. That means you will be familiar with mechanics and the basis of the game - the play style. Which is quite unforgiving if I might add. inputs have to be precise you have to be on-point and react fast, hit confirm have to lead to something :D.

I have some past KoF experience, but very far from been good. Even without matches I had fun and the game is fun to play. I'd love to see a huge visual overhaul or change in direction in style at least because game isn't looking great. It looks fine, to mediocre. For a fighting game it is important, because it attracts attention. The characters that have been in the series - or new addition - are there and as awesome as ever. They just need the visual upgrade that KoF past standards had. Music is awesome.
