The demo just came out today, uploading one of my first runs.
The way the mechanics work for this game, is that you can now collect spirits from specific dead faeries, and bosses apparantly emanted them too. You have 4 types of spirit:
Blue: increases point value
Purple: Gives you life parts, need 10 for your first life, 15 for your second..
Green: Gives bomb parts, need 10 parts for one bomb.
Grey: Increases your trance meter at the bottom left of the screen.
Trance is what happens when i get hit, i get sent into a trance which makes me invulnerable and kick posterior, but at the end of the timer, you still die anyway. If you have a full trance gauge, you can press C to activate your trance without dieing at the end.
We see some old faces here, like yuyuko and kogasa, and new bosses such as kyouko.. the whatever, and a zombie : P
So far, the life system sucks, it's hard enough to get your life parts without getting hit, but you get so little during the demo.. the game does feel easier though, at least on normal/hard.
Also, expect spell practice, it's there in the menu!
