- Analysis:
Kasumi's Mystic weapon has poor reach. However, by utilizing the forward momentum's in her moveset to act as "reach" can benefit her as compensation for the lack of reach in the weapon.
C2-2 followed up by (your choice) a JA (Jump Attack) or DJ (Double Jump) is up to Kasumi. JA is to finish off enemies' if C2-2 doesn't kill them. DJ is used to avoid her falling straight down her current spot to avoid and minimize damage taken.
C2-2 by default, has elemental activation. With Brilliance, it increases the number of elemental activation dealt. Her absorption is average good in C2-2, but with the strategy of having her attack with combos in rapid succession while tossing herself in the air, mesmerizing the enemies' AI, she will rarely get knocked off. Of course, everything isn't 100% foolproof, but the damage she takes will always be in a form of reduced damage while she is in the air.
Don't touch her variations R1, they are useless, making Brilliance ideal for her. They are close to being useless unless utilizing it for fancy combo play (which I've tried, and can work for "fun").

* This is the strongest Big-star weapon for Kasumi with a noticeable longer reach.
With the same partner and item setup, this build utilizes the Big-star's longer reach for better absorption and hitbox with her C1-1-1 playstyle. C1-1-1 has an impressive three elemental activation for an early charge attack. She is able to cancel the moveset whenever she want, so take advantage of this over her enemies as a Speed-type character.
Whether if she is about to finish C1-1-1 or not, DJ-ing out of any seemingly precarious or dangerous situations will be her top priority. She isn't particularly comfortable with stationary crowds or being in one, due to her love and hate relationship with it (loves it for absorption, hates it for the lack of control and clearing). She is not fond of running peons, despite the long reach, leaping peons can still manage to penetrate in the middle of her offense, so be careful.
