"The Walking Tank" - Xu Huang
C3 EX is awesome. This moveset by default contains two elemental activations and has great absorption. It also grants Xu Huang an overpowered defensive buff, allowing him to tank damages from never-ending nukes.
Brilliance is great on him in Story/Free Mode, if accompanied with a RA (Run Attack), he can defeat all types of enemies with RA-C3 EX-JA in one go. RA also speeds up his normal strings temporarily, allowing him to perform C3 EX earlier. Because he is a Power-type by default, Xu Huang does not need Iron Gauntlets. With the C3 EX buff active, everything else will only tickle him.
The last item slot for him is Dragon's Eye just to cancel the C3 EX (or any charge attack) recovery lag. The lag won't kill him, it is just annoying.
Keep in mind, Xu Huang has no Osmosis and is essentially performing C3 EX or charge attack spam with this setup. With Brilliance, Xu Huang wants to avoid consuming any bits of Musou or the Almighty from Brilliance will wear out.
If Xu Huang wants to spam any Musou consumption moves, exchange Brilliance for Osmosis.

Note:
On a related, but unrelated note to this video, most players are unaware of this, but transitioning a Switch Attack during normal or charge string from a character into Xu Huang (or anyone) consumes very little Musou, and therefore, deactivating Brilliance. So be careful with that.

- Personal Thoughts (for Story & Free Mode):
With the proper setup, if Xu Huang constantly spams C3 EX back-to-back, he is essentially the friendliest character to play as in early game (as well as late game) and is able to clear any stage at any level and difficulty with much less problem than most, if not, all characters in early game because he avoids gameovers more easily than others.
He has a very simple setup with no extravagant materials/orbs needed to make him effective. The buff essentially allows him to avoid being OHKO'd no matter what level or difficulty. I think I've mentioned that twice now because I am trying to emphasize how insane the buff is. And because of that, he is deemed indestructibly broken in that sense.
This man pretty much has all the tools already, he just needs to make it work.
