And there's the X-COM experience that I was expecting! Starting to get a bit complaisant, feeling confident about how well my teams have been taking out the sectoid invaders. Even my second, almost all rookie team was doing alright. And then the Cyberdisks showed up. Waiting for me right outside my landing ship. And they tore through that rookie team like they were made of paper.

I did manage to win, but it was a Pyrrhic victory. Lost more than half my team. Lost the transferred commander. Lost all but one civilian. It was brutal. But it wasn't a loss. So I'll take it. Driving my focus on some more research, I need to get new technology ready to go so I can handle the ever increasing threat that this game provides. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
