Previously, the party wrapped up "A Tone that Touches the Soul", the substory quest line in Fake Seredo. They did Quest 247: "Coda to Tomorrow". Lizelotta asked them to seek a cure for Sellick in Real Rendashia. They gathered information from the doctor in Real Seredo. In the Fake Zedora Cave, they defeated the Great Argon Lizard, thought extinct in Real Rendashia, and acquired the Argon Heart. They delivered it to the doctor in Real Seredo, and he gave the cure to Sellick. The party returned to Fake Seredo for more events. Liz convinced Sellick to return to his body in the real world. An optional scene took place when they visited Sellick's room in the Hospital in Real Seredo again. Now, the party will start "The One who Quenches the Thirst of the Desert", the substory quest line in Fake Arahagiro.

Fake Arahagiro (time 0:31):

The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Fake Arahagiro.

At E-7, Quila has story info. Serafi was last sighted at the east tenement house.

In the eastern house on floor 1F, the party enters the southern room at F-6 for a scene with Serafi. Serafi wants to collect medicine to cure the resident, Simael, but the locals are still angry with her over King Belmud's death. Serafi tells the party that Simael is suffering from a shivering disease that eventually leads to death.

Serafi issues Quest 248: "Freezing People", the first quest in Arahagiro's substory quest line, "The One who Quenches the Thirst of the Desert". The prerequisite is to have completed Quest 240: "Back to Family", the final quest in Real Arahagiro's main story. The party's first objective is to gather two ingredients. One is the Rhone Carrot found in the southern part of the Fake Rhone Forest. The other is the Dragon Zombie Bone dropped by Dragon Zombies in the Fake Arahagiro Region's eastern desert. Serafi will be waiting here for the party, despite the objections of the other two.

The party exits south at D-8/E-8 to the Fake Arahagiro Region.

Fake Arahagiro Region (time 9:14):

The party goes east to the Quicksand Desert. After using a Metal Perfume and a Double Bubble, they hunt Dragon Zombies (ドラゴンゾンビ) around F-4/G-4. They obtain the Dragon Zombie Bone (サリュウコツ) key item.

The party Zooms to the Fake Yellow Leaves Shop in Fake Rhone Forest.

Fake Rhone Forest (time 13:05):

The party heads south from the rest area. At F-8, they examine the green sparkly spot to obtain the Rhone Carrot (ローヌにんじん). The next objective is to deliver the items to Serafi in the eastern house in Fake Arahagiro.

The party Zooms to the Kingdom of Fake Arahagiro.

Fake Arahagiro (time 15:03):

The party goes to the eastern house on floor 1F. They enter the southern room at F-6 for a scene with Serafi. The party gives her the Dragon Zombie Bone and the Rhone Carrot. She formulates the medicine and administers it to Simael. He stops shivering and wakes up. Serafi tells the party she studied hard because she wants to help people. She rewards the party for their help. Quest 248 complete! The party earns a Seed of Therapeusis (しんこうのたね).

Serafi asks Simael if he knows how he got his shivering disease. He says it started when he saw a Buffalogre. He thinks it was the Buffalogre that King Belmud tore to shreds in the arena. At midnight, he heard a growling voice. He saw the Buffalogre when he went out to investigate. But it passed through Simael's body and disappeared, so it is no normal monster. Since this encounter, Simael began shivering uncontrollably. Serafi concludes that this vengeful spirit has been spreading the disease. Talking to Heorot, she believes that this Buffalogre was originally a human, like some other monsters in Fake Arahagiro. For now, she will focus on getting the medicine to the sick people. She thanks the party for helping her.

After the scene, Fura uses the Seed of Therapeusis.

At E-7, Quila has story info. Serafi was last observed on the castle's upper eastern passageway.
