Previously, the party began the substory quest line in Fake Gran Zedora, "The Revived Kingdom". Starting with Quest 283: "The Man who Lived" for Minister Ligues, they investigated the Fake Sea Breeze Cave. They defeated a gaggle of Hitokui Dolls and saved a man named Tegram. Afterwards, they brought Tegram some food from the castle to revive him. Then, in Quest 284: "The Man who Became Hope" for Mayor Baffle, they investigated Tegram's activities. They went to the Garial Cave in the south of the Fake Gran Zedora Region and defeated the Halberdsaurus. Now, the party will finish up "The Revived Kingdom".

Fake Gran Zedora (time 0:31):

The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Fake Gran Zedora. They Zoom to the Fake Gran Zedora Castle - Entrance destination.

Fake Gran Zedora Castle (time 4:00):

In the Servant Room on floor 3F, the party talks to Squire Kipper at C-6. Tegram has asked for a certain item, but the castle servants are unable to procure it.

Kipper issues Quest 285: "The Man who Realized the Truth", the third quest in "The Revived Kingdom", Fake Gran Zedora's substory quest line. Tegram has chosen to be the new leader of Gran Zedora, and an important ceremony will soon be held. Tegram entrusted the servants with acquiring a stone called the Dark Eye (黒曜のひとみ). It can be acquired from Lunatick Queens (メーダクイン) in the Mysterious Waterway west of Melsandy Village. Kipper is worried about the strength of these monsters, so he entrusts the task of collecting a Dark Eye from a Lunatick Queen to the party.

The party Zooms to the Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing destination in the Fake Melsandy Granaries.

At B-4/C-4, the party enters the Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing.

Fake Sun-Dappled Clearing (time 7:40):

The party goes down the well at E-4/E-5 to the Mysterious Waterway.

Mysterious Waterway (time 7:49):

On floor 1F of the waterway, the party begins hunting Lunatick Queens (メーダクイン), starting around F-1. They use a Metal Perfume and a Double Bubble before they begin fighting the disgusting creatures. The Lunatick Queens are easy at this point in the game.

During the hunt, the party takes out a Lunatick Prince (メーダプリンス), a rarefied Lunatick. The player earns the accolade "Tentacle Prince Hunter" for defeating a Lunatick Prince.

The party acquires the Dark Eye (黒曜のひとみ) key item after defeating a few Lunatick Queens. The next objective is to deliver the Dark Eye to Kipper in Gran Zedora Castle.

Fake Gran Zedora Castle (time 11:10):

In the Servant Room on floor 3F, the party talks to Squire Kipper at C-6. They hand in the Dark Eye. He says it emits an eerie light. The other servants had also gathered weird plants and liquids. He wonders how Tegram plans to use them. Anyway, Kipper will deliver this stuff to the Laboratory in the Secret Underground Corridor under the West Tower. He feels uneasy, so he asks the party to accompany him there. The door leading there from the Sea Breeze Cave has been unlocked, so the party must approach from the Hero Princess's room atop the West Tower.

The party takes the door at B-3 to floor 3F of the Fake West Tower. After going through the secret door at G-2 to the southeast room, they go down the ladder at G-3 to the Fake Secret Underground Corridor.
