The next order of business is to make your way to the top of Ipsen's Castle and collect the four mirrors. Set up your party for whats coming up...

Once you collect the mirrors, Taharka will ambush you, but all you need to do is inflict Heat on the boss to win as it dies when it acts next turn, but you need Zidane to steal the Orichalcon before the fight ends. Taharka curling up will buy you some time to do all of the above. Everyone needs AP on top of this.

Before meeting up with everyone outside the castle, remove Steiner's equipment and equip Quina with the Silver Fork, Holy Miter, N-Kai Armlet, Robe of Lords, Ribbon, and activate Level Up and Antibody. Equip Zidane with your new Orichalcon, Green Beret, Bone Wrist, Judo Uniform, Power Belt, and activate Auto-Haste, Devil Killer, MP Attack, and Accuracy+. Move Zidane and Steiner to the front row.

Someone is missing...so return to the castle and slide down the fireman's pole. Amarant is at the bottom of the next screen, then leave the castle again, but remove Amarant's equipment before you do.

Now to drop off Eiko and Dagger at the Water Shrine, Amarant and Freya at the Fire Shrine, then head to Daguerreo to buy some missable items. Unique in Daguerreo, the weapon shop is locked behind a broken hydraulic lift. Fix the lift and ride the lift up to the shop...

Sell all of the following: Antidote, Echo Screen, Soft, Yellow Scarf, Survival Vest, Flame Staff, Demon's Mail, Germinas Boots, Cat's Claws, Tent, Fork, Red Hat, Thief Gloves, Anklet, High Mage Staff, Ritual Hat, Wing Edge, Eye Drops, Extension, Needle Fork, Vaccine, Exploda, The Ogre, Golden Hairpin, Partisan, Jade Armlet, Rising Sun, Lamia's Flute, Feather Boots, Brigandine, Mythril Gloves, Egoist's Armlet, Silk Robe, Angel Earrings, Adaman Vest, Annoyntment, Phoenix Pinion, Gold Helm, Fairy Earrings;
Leave 1 Gaia Gear, 3 Dead Pepper, # of Potion equal to # of Ore and sell the rest

Buy: 2 Rune Blade, 2 Obelisk, 2 Tiger Fangs, 2 Asura's Rod, 2 Hamelin, 2 Octagon Rod, 1 Venetia Shield, 3 Diamond Armor

Head over to the synthesis shop and with your remaining Potion and Ore, make that many Opal gems, which will power up Shiva for Pandemonium. (I wish I collected the Forgotten Plains contents...) Then head back to the Hilda Garde and park at Everlang Island slightly northwest of Daguerreo, and save.
