You might have noticed Stiltzkin did not show up at the end of the last segment. He will not show up until the storage area is loaded a second time, so loading the save satisfies this condition. Purchase Stiltzkin's final missable offer and then set up Zidane, Freya and Quina for You Are Not Alone...

Quina stays in the back row, everyone else to the front. If you only have one Adaman Hat, give it to Zidane and he will need Auto-Life to even begin YANA.

As Zidane, head to the inn on the right side, then after some dialogue, head up to the crystal and down the stairs on the right. Pick up the Elixir in the foreground and then talk to the genome. After following the genome back up the stairs, you will eventually have control of Eiko in the inn. Get the chest next to Steiner and make your way to the gate. Load the right side of Bran Bal, then go back and through the center, initiating the final ATE 'The Truth'. Have Eiko speak to the genome and Pandemonium will begin.

The first fight against Amdusias begins with Zidane succumbing to a Bio spell, but Auto-Life revives him to 1HP. Wait for Amdusias to rise, then Freya shows up. Attack with Zidane and Freya to get Amarant to show up, then 2 attacks with at least one from Freya will win. Just make sure Zidane and Amarant are KO'd before the final hit.

Key Abilities Learned: Freya - Dragon Killer

The second fight against Abadon begins with Quina and Steiner, but you have to wait 2 turns until Zidane shows up. Have Quina revive Steiner if he is down after Abadon's second attack and Zidane will arrive. This is where that second Adaman Hat comes in handy, since Quina and Zidane would be immune, plus Zidane comes in with Auto-Life so he has to use it up before the fight ends. Knocking out Steiner on command could be troublesome due to how well he is equipped. Two attacks each with Steiner and Zidane, barring any criticals should put Abadon with very little HP so that Quina can poke it with a fork once Steiner and Zidane are knocked out. Due to the training before Earth Guardian, Quina will not gain any levels here.

Now for the last fight with Shell Dragon. Zidane is alone at first, but Dagger will appear once he is in critical HP. Depending on how full the ATB starts, you can make Dagger appear yourself, saving your Auto-Life which is a big advantage. You should have 3 Dead Pepper in the inventory, and this is where it comes into play. Use one on Zidane and it will put him into critical. Once Dagger joins, have her use Shiva and Zidane attack while keeping track of Shell Dragon's HP. The first time you use Shiva, you will always get the full animation which can deal more damage. The more Opal in your inventory, the more damage potential of Shiva. If you had the opportunity to unearth the Forbidden Plains chocograph, you will have a hefty supply, making this fight shorter and more trivial, but it is not required by any means. Once you get under 4000 HP remaining. Just use Shiva to safely get through the fight. If Zidane isn't attacking and waiting to be knocked out, he can use an Elixir on Dagger to restore her MP. You won't know if you get the full or short Shiva animation until she is summoned so there is no shame in playing safe.

Once you have control, run right two screens back to the rest of the party. Remove Dagger's Ribbon (and Robe of Lords if you are short on gil for something) and strip Quina of his/her equipment, and hope you don't get an encounter running back to the rest of the party. Once prompted to form a new party, take Freya, Steiner, and Amarant. Triumphantly save at Moorock!

Now for my personal favorite part of the challenge, and the music of Pandemonium!
