The touch controls on the DS version actually handle very well. This game feels very much like a old school retro style game which will remind you of asteroids of similar space based games. Combat is very fast paced with dozens upon dozens of enemies coming at you all at once. They come on many shapes and sizes including enemies which will try to ram you, avoid your attacks, suck you in and other variates. Bombs can help clear the screen to give you breathing room while your drone is a addition to assist you in combat. The drone is a nice touch in that it actually gains experience and grows as you keep playing. It comes with a variety of modes include an attack mode, defense mode, point gathering, ramming and many other options to choose from. A large variety of levels gives you different level designs to play in with different obstacles to deal with. The best part is that like many old school retro games there is no end to the game. Instead you keep up the frantic pace until you finally lose. This allows you to get the highest score you possibly can and then compare with your friends.
