MisfitTalon explores the deep sea in Beyond Blue
0Not every game is about pew pew, and go kill this or survive that. Some games like Beyond Blue here are in fact, very educational. If you want to learn something and / or want your children to learn about the deep blue sea, than this is the game for you. This game is all about exploration and none about your typical game that I described above. So if you're expecting that, then well you're sorely going to be disappointed. To me this game is more of a Documentary of some sort. A... Game-umentary I might say? Ok that was horrible I know.
The game has a very interesting story that it's trying to tell in raising awareness of our beloved blue planet's ocean and the ocean-life that inhabits it and how much it's being damaged by industrialization. I've not completed it yet even though it isn't a very long game. I actually am enjoying learning about our ocean-life while playing the game itself. Depending on how much exploration you do, there are ingame documentary videos that give you an insight on how our marine biologists explore things and what discoveries they've done so far and how much they still have left to go in unlocking new discoveries. I like it a lot. It's a change of scenery of all the ultra-violent games I play and I get to learn a few things while I play it.
I have this on PC which I actually got for free due to Epic game's free game showcases it puts out. I'm sure this game you can get on other launchers and game platforms. But for a free game, this to me was a relaxing sleeper hit. Go check it out if you'd like. As always, enjoy my boring gameplay!
