MisfitTalon tackles Transformers War for Cybertron
2Transformers has always and will always be my fave franchise of all time. And though this isn't exactly G1, War for Cybertron still gives it a good origin story on the war each rendition the franchise talks about. Though each platform outside of the OG Hasbro toyline gave it a similar origin, I am always familiar to that of the OG cartoon in the 80's.
The game itself is fantastic even in today standards in my opinion. The controls are pretty smooth as well. When you marry a good story plus great mechanics, this easily becomes one of many gamer's fave if they love the franchise. Though the graphics, even with my card that outdoes its recommendation, somehow it didn't really render right in this game play, I'll have to try and see why that is next time. I could've done a linear chapter by chapter gameplay, but I took the AvP (the one done by rebellion in 2010 that I also played) and played alternating factions. This game is bundles of fun. I got mine off Steam, hopefully it is still sold. Go check it out and enjoy my boring gameplay!
