1This game! Man this game is just out there. It definitely has a Bioshock feel to it. Story wise, this is a love letter to two movies that I remember watching when I was a younger, "Clockwork Orange" and "1984" which to say the least are intriguingly disturbing. If you've never watched those two movies, I would recommend them to anyone as they both cover dystopian versions in what society has become in their respective worlds. No spoilers, except a big disclaimer. They really are disturbing and definitely NOT for kids. Same can be said for this game.
The gameplay itself while 1st person, it really has a few survival niches that it blends into the game which make sense to the overall story. I have not finished the game obviously since I just started (well restarted it) playing it. But I will definitely revisit this game and post bits on here. Obviously there is a bit of a learning curve to how to play since y'all saw me struggling a bit with stealth, which I actually pretty good at stealth games but, I'll eventually get it in time since it isn't too difficult to learn. So far the game seems slow with lots of having to pause to read things (which I do recommend doing since there are many cool stories) in order to get a feel for the world and obviously, it seems like some choices may alter your game play. I may start over at another time to see what would've happened had I taken my pill to begin with. :D I'm sure the story will progress better as I continue playing.
Overall, I love the art and design of everything in this game. Very different from what I'm used to seeing when I play some of the games I constantly play. The voice acting is pretty cool as well. Love some of the dialogue so far. I picked this game up through Steam (on PC) when it was on special. I'm sure this game is on all platforms. Check it out for sure, especially if you've seen both movies I aforementioned above, you'll get lots of the context to the game even if it doesn't have anything to do with those movie franchises at all.
