(English below) La versión de 2001 de Duke Nukem Forever, realizado con el motor de Unreal, y que se descartó en etapa avanzada de desarrollo para rehacer el juego con otro motor, se filtró hace unos meses a la red. Por fin pudimos probar aquella famosa versión de la que tanto se había hablado, pero a duras penas era jugable. Afortunadamente, un grupo de fans que se hacen llamar Mighty Foot Productions en seguida se pusieron a trabajar en esta build para hacer de él un juego que podamos disfrutar como el verdadero Duke Nukem Forever, el que nos habría gustado jugar.

Y aquí tenemos un adelanto de este trabajo, en el cual podemos jugar el capítulo entero inicial que se desarrolla en el casino. Aun le faltan cosas por pulir y hay algunos bugs, pero es un aperitivo fantástico que nos permite vislumbrar que era un juego muy ambicioso para la época. ¡Gracias a los fans que están haciendo posible esto!

The 2001 version of Duke Nukem Forever, made with the Unreal engine, and that was discarded at an advanced stage of development to remake the game with another engine, was leaked a few months ago to the net. We were finally able to try that famous version that had been so much talked about, but was barely playable. Fortunately, a group of fans who call themselves Mighty Foot Productions immediately got to work on this build to make it a game that we can enjoy as the real Duke Nukem Forever, the one we would have liked to play.

And here we have a preview of this work, in which we can play the entire initial chapter that takes place in the casino. It still lacks polish and there are some bugs, but it's a fantastic preview that allows us to glimpse that it was a very ambitious game for the time. Thanks to the fans who are making this possible!
