¡Feliz Navidad!
Merry Christmas!

Well, I said in my previous video about Dark Forces that when the 1.0 version of The Force Engine would be released I would make a longplay of the complete game, and here it is. The game consists of 14 missions, and so that the video was not too long I decided to divide it in 2 parts, with 7 missions in each one. In this longplay (playthrough, walkthrough or whatever it is called) I play in maximum difficulty and showing all the secrets.

Star Wars: Dark Forces is the Lucas Arts FPS released in 1995 for PC MS-DOS and PSX. Obviously influenced by Doom, and unfairly treated as a mere clone of it back in the day, however tries to go further with levels structured around missions that we must fulfill, a great variety of scenarios and situations and a story with quite important in which we control Kyle Katarn, mercenary in the service of the Rebellion that, after stealing the plans for the Death Star (yes, in this game was him) will have to investigate and put an end to a new weapon being developed by the Empire.

As I say, I play it in The Force Engine, a port created by reverse engineering that allows, in its version 1.0, to play Dark Forces with full compatibility, plus its mods, in current Windows, HD and with GPU rendering (which includes perspective correction with mouse view), plus other improvements such as being able to play with a modern controls. The original MS-DOS game had a resolution of 320x200 with no possibility to increase it, and was mainly intended to be played only with keyboard. In its version 2.0 this port will also allow the possibility to play the other game made with the Jedi engine, Outlaws.
