As you meet and speak with Professor Fig in the Map Chamber, Rackham explains you are finally ready, and must resist the temptation to destroy or harness the magic within the repository. The map in the floor dissipates and descends, revealing a secret staircase and a door. Head down the stairs and through the door to enter the Keepers' Caverns. Upon entering, you must follow what is essentially a long winding linear path through the caves, dealing with enemies as they emerge. You'll eventually enter an arena with two Fortified Trolls alongside regular Goblin Loyalists, all of whom you'll need to defeat. Once clear, head towards the stone wall to the back of the arena with the glowing white smoke for Fig to blow it up, letting you progress. After another arena down the path, this time with just Goblin Loyalists, head to the right where another glowing white smoke rock can be blown up by Fig. In the gigantic cavern beyond, a cutscene will trigger where the various Professors of Hogwarts will Apparate in and assist in the battle. Back in control, head across the bridge to a small combat arena against some Loyalists, and then a Fighter Troll will break through. Bring them all down, and after a lucky hit from Professor Sharp creates a bridge you can use, you and Fig reach the entrance to the repository. Two Pensieve Guardians stand at either side of the door, and before they can strike you bring out the Keepers' Wand and they stand down, with the door opening ahead. Choosing "I intend to keep it contained here" causes Fig to breathe a sigh of relief, knowing your plan is to keep it contained and not repeat the mistakes of Isidora, and you can then choose whether to keep it a secret "for now" or "forever". Regardless of your choice here, Fig agrees this is the right path. Ranrok arrives shortly thereafter with Miriam's wand, and casts a destructive spell that blows the repository open. After Fig seemingly dies getting crushed by falling debris, you slip and fall. Down a small slope, the battle against Ranrok begins. Please refer to the Defeat Ranrok section below for a full breakdown of the final boss fight. After defeating Ranrok, as the dark magic runs rampant, you use the Keepers' Wand to summon a new repository cage to contain the magic with the help of Professor Fig, who shortly thereafter dies from his injuries. Ranrok, with the power of the repository unleashed, has taken the form of a shadowy dragon. He is invulnerable to regular spell attacks, so you must keep an eye out for floating magical balls that you'll need to strike with a spell of the corresponding colour. Only then will he become vulnerable attacks for a brief time. Ranrok's attacks here are very fast, with little time to tell if you can Protego the incoming shot, or if you'll need to dodge. After you deplete his first segment of health, he will destroy a wall and allow you to progress into the next stage of the fight. Sprint all the way down the path to the second battle stage, where the same process applies of hitting the colored orbs to make Ranrok vulnerable, but now you must hit two orbs before he can be hurt. Depleting the second segment of health will allow you to slide down into the very bottom of the cavern, in a large circular arena. Though he has 1 large health bar left, this is still divided into two phases. First will be much like the previous two, but three orbs must be hit successfully before you can damage Ranrok. The final phase has Ranrok land down in his dragon form, where he can charge, swipe, and still spit fireballs. Edurus Potions are MVP here if you happen to have any, as you'll likely take some hits whilst you take care of FOUR different orbs before Ranrok can be targeted. Luckily though in this phase, you only have to hit the four orbs once and he will remain vulnerable for the duration of the fight from that point forward. Fully depleting his health will have him in the center of the arena, where you must hit a final 3 orbs that all dissipate very quickly, meaning you'll need to switch between spell types quickly or they'll move to a new location in the arena. Hit them all, and Ranrok will be defeated. Choosing "I intend to open it" when speaking to Professor Fig, he will be shocked, and ask that you reconsider after all you've learned regarding Isidora's fall into darkness and obsession. If you double down and say the power shouldn't be contained, or that you want it specifically for yourself, then Fig will be in disbelief that this is your choice. Before he can say any more, Ranrok arrives with Miriam's wand and casts a spell that destroys the last repository, freeing all the dark magic and emotion within.

The final boss fight against Ranrok plays out the exact same way, so please refer to the Defeat Ranrok section above.
