Head to the north end of Marunweem Lake to find the Coastal Mine. This is a large encampment filled with enemies, so be prepared for an arduous fight. As you approach, even an Armored Troll will emerge from near the mine entrance which you'll need to take down. After clearing the area of enemies, head up the main pathway into the cliff to find a small doorway to the right, allowing you to enter the Coastal Mine proper.Head down the path and deal with the two Goblins you'll find before accessing the tram system tucked to the right.After a short ride, you'll get off, and will need to head up the small staircase ahead and use Confringo/Incendio to light the fireplace beneath the mechanism. This will allow you to unlock an optional door further into the mine.Head up the steps near the fireplace you've lit, and use Accio to pull the platform towards you. Get onboard, and then Accio again to pull you and the platform back across. In this new area, which will have a few Goblin enemies to deal with, you will have a number of branching pathways to take. Left, straight ahead, right, or looping back on yourself (just to the left). Going right has the option of a small chest to loot alongside some Moonstone, and going left allows you to reach a Collection chest and a few others by dropping through a hole in the ground.If you head straight forward into the covered area, you'll need to light another furnace with Confringo/Incendio which will raise an elevator just down the steps. Board it and activate it to arrive in a fight with multiple Goblin enemies, a Fortified Troll, and the Infamous Foe, Grodbik.Whether you go down any of the optional paths, or just want to continue into the mine, head down the stairs in the area you've just defeated the first few enemies in, and you'll need to Accio the platform at the bottom up to you. Get aboard, then Accio yourself down with the platform.In this area, more Goblin enemies await, and once they're dealt with you can either board another tram or enter a room to the right that has a fireplace you can light. Riding the tram, you can reach the very first door you unlocked via fireplace earlier in the mine, Return and light the fire under the mechanism in the room (now to your left), and ride the lift up that it activates. At the top, in the room ahead, you'll find Ranrok speaking to his Loyalists about the drill's success. As the cutscene ends, defeat all enemies in the area, including an Armored Troll, and then destroy the 5 pillars around the room to bring the ceiling down on the drill.A cutscene will ensue where Ranrok confronts you, before Rookwood brings in Lodgok. It's revealed that Lodgok is Ranrok's younger brother, and that Lodgok has a book with the location of the final repository, which he gives to Ranrok to stop the fighting. This plan obviously does not work, with Ranrok striking Lodgok with Dark Magic, killing him, as Rookwood unsuccessfully tries to kill Ranrok with Avada Kedavra, whilst you escape on a nearby tram as the ceiling truly starts to collapse.As you regain control, you can interact with the gate ahead to open it, and turn left up the slope to exit the mine.
