Head to the Overlook just northeast of Upper Hogsfield and speak with Sebastian. He will explain that this is the area painted on the triptych earlier, and that there is an abandoned mine nearby that is a hub for Ranrok’s Loyalists. You can choose to approach the mine stealthily with Disillusionment or go in full force. Go down the hill ahead of you and you’ll need to pass through two separate encampments of Loyalists. Deal with both as you wish; loud and proud, stealthily eliminate enemies, or avoid them all together, to reach the entrance to the Overlook Mine. Once inside the mine, follow the path round to the left after dealing with the two Loyalists by the edge, jumping the gaps and clambering up before sliding down the slope ahead. You’ll land in a room with three Loyalists, who you’ll need to eliminate before progressing. After the room is cleared, use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the crate in the room against the wall on the west side of the room, letting you climb up to the higher area. Go down the path to the left to slide down a second slope.

At the bottom, climb up the ledge on the left and cast Reparo on the broken bridge, allowing you to cross. On the other side, you’ll be ambushed by 3 Thornback Scurriors. Defeat them and continue through the passageway and crouch under the gap to the left to be ambushed by another spider. Continue through the next crawlspace and follow the path before you’ll drop down into a large combat arena. Here you’ll face a large number of Loyalists and then Thornback Spiders, including two Matriarchs. Deal with them all as you see fit. With the room clear of enemies, use Confringo/Incendio to clear the various spiderwebs and you’ll note three rune symbols. One directly next to the locked rune door, one just above it to the left, and one further off to the right. Hit all three in quick succession with Basic Cast to unlock the door. With the door open, head down the stairs and explore the small chamber. In a chest is the second triptych piece, and a journal entry from Isidora is on the table in the center of the room.Speak to Sebastian after obtaining these to confirm plans to return to the triptych to see what you can reveal. You can then use the enchanted stone reflection within this chamber to teleport directly to the Undercroft.Back in the Undercroft, walk forwards and place the second piece you’ve just recovered into the triptych on the wall, then speak to Sebastian. Sebastian recognizes the location, but warns there is more trouble waiting should you head there. He chastises you when you discuss your plan with Lodgok, and tells you to leave in a dismissive manner, concluding the quest.
