With this game I'll admit that I am a bit more then biased in how much I enjoy this series. Trauma Center is a well known doctor simulation game where you play as surgeons/doctors often treating patients in high intensity and fast working scenarios. In this game you assume the role of Derrick Styles from the first game a talented and gifted doctor. The story picks up with patients who suffered from the guilt infection in the first game must now deal with Post Guild Syndrome. The story is delivered via still pictures with text. The story works to keep you updated on what is going on while feeling involved enough. Music is fitting usually a bit more fast based beat to whatever your doing. Gameplay is always fast with most missions being five minutes or less in Trauma Center Under The Knife 2. Things range from making incisions to using sutras to stitch up wounds. While it makes things far easier then they are in real life you still feel like a skilled surgeon at work. Touch screen controls are excellent being some of the best on the Nintendo DS. Gameplay is fun and engaging. Rankings on missions based on your speed also gives some incentive for replay value. Trauma Center Under The Knife 2 is excellent. Overall the game is a excellent sequel and anyone who enjoys touch screen games should play it.
