- Before we start:
Yes, I modified Ayane and Ryu Hayabusa in this Musou Battlefield Mode into wolves because their presence of aggravation (with C2, etc.) against enemy officers piss me off a lot.
- Analysis:
Finally, Huang Zhong gets his old bum off the horse to fight like a man!
Attributes such as, Alacrity, Aggression and Bastion are a no brainier to trigger with C5 EX.
After Aggression, R1 becomes his main damage dealer. He shoots his volleys of arrows one by one (max 3) in an awkward trajectory (hitbox), so it will need some time to get use to it. At point blank full-hit, one volley from one R1 will OHKO generics with one shot, 'OHKO' non-flinchable ~x2 officers with two shots and 'OHKO' flinchable ~x2 officers with two-three shots. For officers as tough as Kotaro Fuma, an Aggression full-hit grounded C5 EX will 'OHKO'.
I quoted 'OHKO' because they are all multi-string hits ... but essentially, it is one moveset KO.
C5 EX is Huang Zhong's go-to crowd clearing and control moveset as well. If enemies start to crowd him, aerial thrust transition into an Air R1(-JA/JC), this will help him generate & maintain combos, but more importantly, get out of his current position safely.
Most of Huang Zhong's movesets are stationary, so Air R1 is mostly used to get out of crowded or unsafe situations, but can also be used to pick up failed KOs while moving.
This set improves Huang Zhong's kill speed and stage completion compared to his hybrid-elemental horse setup (linked below):

The hybrid-elemental horse setup has far more consistent performances than this setup, but it is stale and slow as hell to play. Hybrid-elemental horse setup doesn't work in Gauntlet Mode as well, so this can be the alternative grounded setup for Huang Zhong.
With this setup, he can achieve a clear time of 03'20"00 or faster, rivaling with some of the best characters in the game.
