- Analysis:
Sun Shangxiang has a very powerful R1 with very good combo generating potential all in one. Under Aggression, anything that gets a full-hit will be overkill.
With the mentioned partner and item setup, this will allow Sun Shangxiang to achieve max stats on both Attack and Defense without investing item slots for Lion's Fang or Chimera's Shell while retaining Speed of 360+ and OHKO against everything in the game.
The max Defense will go a long way because she is susceptible to leap attacks in regular mode during her R1 recovery. Max Defense and Bastion will allow her to tank hits to the fullest.
Not every player is aware or wants to use camera-trick, but do keep in mind that Sun Shangxiang is a Technique-type character, meaning she can avoid damage from stacking up when she is flinched by any attacks by pressing the X button to perform a back-dash (Dive) recovery. This will minimize her damage taken by an extreme amount. In other words, spam the X button during her R1 animation if a horde of peons are running towards her.
- Notes:
There have been occasions where her R1 will randomly explode officers in the air before the entire animation of her R1 finishes. I don't know what causes the glitch to occur, but it rarely happens and is not a big issue.
Blast does not benefit her damage output so she has to resort to Typhoon for the initial chip damage and combo generating with R1.
